Think Clean. Think Pristine.

About Me

Think Clean. Think Pristine.

Is your home as tidy as you would like it to be? Most people answer "no" to that question. Maybe there are just a couple of rooms that have fallen into disarray since you've been overly busy, or perhaps your whole house could use a deep cleaning. You could take a week off from work and do this all yourself, but hiring a cleaning service is an excellent alternative. People have a lot of false assumptions about cleaning services, and hiring one is easier than you might think. Start reading the articles on this blog, and you will soon feel more comforted and reassured by the idea.

Should You Have Your House Power Washed Or Soft Washed?

With spring just around the corner, it's time to plan what parts of your house you need to clean from top to bottom. While organizing the inside of your house and cleaning it all over on the inside is important, it's just as important to clean the outside of your house. Although using your garden hose may get off some dirt, using a professional service may be more effective. If you have never had the outside of your house sprayed off or if you just haven't done in a while, then there are two professional services for you to choose from: soft washing and power washing. But what are the differences between these two services and when may you want to use them?

Soft Washing

Soft washing is a type of professional cleaning that uses low powered water to help clean services that may otherwise get damaged. For instance, soft washing is really good to clean mold, mildew, and dirt off of a roof. If you do have mold or mildew then the cleaning agency will typically combine the water with an organic cleaning solution to help get rid of the bacteria. If you were to use high power washing on a roof, it would damage your shingles or cause them to come loose. Soft washing can also be used on certain surfaces like freshly painted siding or brick.

Power Washing

Power washing is a more aggressive form of pressurized washing that can be used to get rid of really tough stains on surfaces like concrete. For instance, if you have a really dirty garage floor that has oil and paint stains on it, then power washing can help get it clean. Additionally, power washing is great to be used on some homes with brick exteriors that haven't been painted and some siding. Also, power washing is good to use on windows because they won't be damaged.

There are some things that you can clean on your own, but your exterior may not be one of them. If you just aren't sure whether or not your house should be soft washed or power washed, you can typically call one of these service companies and have them come take a look at your house. To learn more about both of these options and which one will get the exterior of your house looking as clean as possible, reach out to a power washing agency and/or a soft washing service agency, such as Paneless Home Services, today.
